About Us
Bullys Behaven began with unconditional love from a rescued pitbull and a promise from us in return to make sure everyone we met for the rest of our lives would know how misunderstood, and incredibly wonderful this breed is. Our mission is to educate and empower dog owners of all breeds. By combining the proper amount of leadership, consistency, and patience on a daily basis we are returning just some of that unconditional love that our loyal companions give us every day.
How do we work?
There is a passion behind what we do. Our goal is to provide owners with knowledge and hands-on techniques to improve the bond with their dogs. Each unique family, environment, dog, and particular issue is taken into consideration before any training begins. What works for one dog may not work at all for another. My training is based on leadership and is done so by using training methods which include include but are not limited to: body language, leash corrections, motivation, and positive reinforcement.
Services are conducted at your home or an outdoor location. If the issues arise when your dog is in your home then that's where our work will be done. When a dog demonstrates social problems in public, then an outside location may be required.
Much like children, there is never a quick fix, but a lifetime commitment to dedicated consistency. Once you tell us what your problems are, we begin a step-by-step approach to training that leaves you, the owner both knowledgeable and confident enough to continue the process on your own as you share your life with your best friend.
