Our Day Training program is the perfect solution for owners who want the structure and effectiveness of a Board and Train, but prefer to have their dog home at night. Your dog will spend the day with us for up to 8 hours, receiving personalized training, guided socialization, and real-world behavior practice in a calm, structured home environment.

What Is Day Training?

Day Training offers the same immersive behavior work as our Board and Train program, just without the overnight stay. It’s ideal for dogs who need consistency, structure, and professional handling but do best sleeping in their own home.

We focus on building calm, reliable behavior around real-world distractions and your dog gets to reset each night at home with you.

A Typical Day Includes:

• Multiple targeted training sessions
• Leash walking and exposure outings
• Supervised play with calm, non-reactive dogs
• Socialization around people, dogs, and distractions
• Structured rest periods to support learning
• Crate calmness, door manners, and impulse control
• Updates and progress check-ins

Package Options

• 5-Day Program: A great jump-start for obedience tune-ups, leash reactivity, or specific behavior goals.
• 10-Day Program: Ideal for dogs with more complex behavior issues, anxiety, or owners seeking deeper results over a longer period.

Programs are scheduled Monday–Friday (or flexibly based on availability), and we’ll work with you to select the package that best fits your dog’s needs.

  Not at all. This is structured, goal-driven training in a home environment. Your dog isn’t just “hanging out,” they’re actively learning and being coached throughout the day.
• Do I drop my dog off and pick them up each day?
  Yes. You’ll drop your dog off in the morning and pick them up later the same day. Pickup and drop-off times will be arranged in advance.
• What if my dog is reactive or aggressive?
  We work with dogs struggling with reactivity and fear-based behavior all the time. Because the setting is private and structured, it’s a safe space to help your dog learn to feel calm and confident.
• How is this different from the Board and Train?
  Day Training offers many of the same benefits, daily repetition, exposure, and focused sessions — but allows your dog to sleep at home at night. It’s best for dogs who don’t require 24/7 supervision or intensive behavior work that needs full immersion.
• How do I decide between the 5- and 10-day program?
  We’ll help you choose based on your dog’s behavior history and goals. For mild behavior challenges or obedience tune-ups, 5 days may be enough. For more serious concerns like reactivity, anxiety, or aggression, we recommend the 10-day package.
