Board and Train Programs in New Jersey
In-Home Programs for Reactive & Aggressive Dogs
Structured Rehabilitation for Reactive & Aggressive Dogs
Our in-home Board and Train programs are designed for dogs struggling with reactivity, aggression, anxiety, or serious behavioral challenges.
Based in Jackson, NJ, we work with families throughout Monmouth County, Ocean County, and surrounding New Jersey communities. Many clients travel to us specifically for structured behavior rehabilitation when basic obedience training has failed.
Dogs stay in our home, not a kennel or commercial facility, where they receive daily structured training, real-world exposure, and individualized behavior modification in a stable environment.
Programs range from 2 to 5 weeks depending on your dog’s history, severity of behavior, and long-term goals. Each program is designed to create lasting behavioral change, not temporary compliance.
Program Options
2 Weeks – Moderate Behavior Support
Ideal for dogs needing focused work on reactivity, impulse control, or household structure. This is often the starting point for behavior cases that require clarity and consistency.
3 Weeks – Intensive Training
Recommended for dogs experiencing anxiety, escalating reactivity, mild aggression, or multiple behavioral concerns. This extended time allows for stronger habit formation and improved reliability.
4 Weeks – Severe Behavior Modification
Best suited for dogs with significant aggression, severe anxiety, or long-standing behavioral patterns. This program allows for deeper rehabilitation, structured accountability, and improved emotional regulation under real-world distraction.
5 Weeks – Advanced Behavioral Reset
Designed for complex cases including fear-based aggression, unpredictable reactions, guarding, or multiple layered triggers. This extended program allows for gradual exposure, structured repetition, and stable, measurable progress across varied environments.
What a Typical Day Includes
Your dog lives on the main floor of our home with access to comfort items you provide. This structured environment supports learning while maintaining stability.
Daily structure includes:
• One-on-one training tailored to your dog’s behavior
• Controlled, structured walks
• Safe training sessions with balanced, non-reactive dogs
• Supervised indoor and outdoor time
• Real-world exposure outings in controlled settings
• Rest and decompression periods to support learning retention
You receive regular updates with clear, honest progress reports throughout the program.
Owner Integration Before Pickup
Before your dog returns home, you will participate in in-person training sessions at our Jackson, NJ location. We walk you through handling techniques, expectations, and structure so you feel confident continuing the work.
Lasting behavior change requires owner clarity as much as dog training.
When It’s Time to Go Home
At the end of the program, we conduct a comprehensive transition session. We review expectations, demonstrate techniques, and guide you through hands-on practice to ensure consistency once your dog returns home.
Continued Support After Completion
Our support does not end at pickup. We remain available for follow-up questions, guidance, and ongoing direction as needed. Serious behavior change requires consistency, and we ensure you are never navigating that process alone.
